Mac and Mike discuss Daunte Wright. Mike takes a hard-line approach while Mac is a bit more easygoing about things. Mike feels bad for the police officer, the Chief who resigned, and the City Manager who was fired for simply expressing the need for due process. Mac focuses a bit more on the tragedy of the loss of life. Like most things the truth usually lies in the middle.
There is no doubt Daunte Wright was a young thug. The real lesson is don’t break the law and listen to the police when they give you a command and you will live. On that issue Mac and Mike agreed. Otherwise, you are taking your life into your own hands. Those who live by the sword will often die by the sword. It has been true for thousands of years and is true today.
