Last week Mac and I decided to move ahead with some thoughts on the First Amendment and Religion. We planned on moving on to the elements that deal with freedom of speech and the press. However, with all the hubbub about January 6th, this video contains some discussion of the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Mac asks the pointed question: Who is more powerful, the President of the United States or those who can silence him?
Our forefathers could never have imagined a world where there was anything more powerful than nations. That is other than God Himself. We are now living in that time.
There have been science fiction shows about a time when corporations replace governments. One such show was called Continuum which ran for 4 seasons starting in 2012. A group of “terrorists” return to 2012 from the year 2077 along with a female cop chasing them through time.
The goal of the “terrorists” is to stop the corporate takeover of the Canadian government. Seeing how big tech and big media interfered with our election in 2020 along with the cooperation of government officials & courts it doesn’t seem so far-fetched.
