First Amendment Part 3

First Amendment Part 3

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Mac and Mike discuss the right to assemble and petition the Government. Should the Government treat the January 6th trespassers any differently from those who set fire to a Federal Court House? What in the world did disgraced CNN anchor Chris Cuomo mean when he asked “And please, show me where it says protesters are supposed to be polite and peaceful.” Well, Chris, it is right there in the 1st Amendment!
