Capitalism coupled with Free Enterprise is the most successful economic system in the world. Why is it the Socialists and Communists in America still thrive in the Democrat Party? Why do we tolerate them today when just 20 years ago they would have never stood a chance at the polls?
Add to that problem of our out-of-control political class. What are the ramifications of printing and borrowing money at such high rates? The answer is inflation. That boils down to a tax on the people for the printing and borrowing of money. Does it matter if you are earning 4% more if the costs of goods and services go up 5.5% at the same time?
